fs_32563.jpgTOM EILERTSON - Head Coach
Tom is a native of Lake Oswego and was a multi sport athlete at Lakeridge High School.  He played football for four years at the University of Idaho and recieved a BS degree in Marketing.  Tom returned to the Portland area shortly after graduation and began coaching youth baseball and football.  In 2002 he relocated his family to Bend and joined the baseball staff at Summit HS.  In 2004 he joined the 'Bobcat' program and served as the position and hitting coach for COCC.  Tom was named the head coach in 2006.  This is the fourth consecutive year COCC has belonged to the 'National Club Baseball Association' based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  "The quality of student-athlete continues to rise each year with players now not only coming into our program from throughout Oregon but across the entire country".

Tom's goal is to insure not only does each student-athlete that enters this program be given an opportunity to take advantage of an affordable education here at COCC or OSU Cascades but also has a chance to showcase his abilities against other NWAAC, NAIA and NCAA schools in order to perhaps further their baseball careers at the 'next level'.  On a personal side, Tom is married with one son who is a criminal justice major at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.  Tom continues to operate 'West Shore Industries' and is a licensed real estate broker with John L Scott in Bend.
